Through dense darkness, through fog and rain the mail must go; service must be maintained and the pilot at the
control of the speedy mail plane and the giant motor transport depends a lot on LIGHT It keeps him in his course
and helps him to safely land his precious cargo of passengers and mail. The era of the air is here! Communities
abreast of the times are air-minded they are welcoming the age of air transportation and reaping the prosperity it is
bringing they are encouraging it with safe landing fields and modern airport facilities. Government beacons light
the path of the airways ... In this great age of the air, LIGHT is playing an important part . . . This company is
proud of the part it is playing in the air development of southern Oregon and northern California. We point with pride
to the fact that we are furnishing service to 35 government beacons and 10 airports and landing fields in the territory
