engaged in the mercantile business.
Two sons Robert and Lawrence
Duff, both of Meilford, wer3 born
to this union, and they with Mrs.
Duff, survive his loss.
He enlisted in t:.e United States
army April 30, 1S64, and was hon
orably discharged in October, 18G4.
He was a member of Company A,
141st Illinois volunteer infantry.
He was a member of the local G.
A. R. post and served as vice-commander
