the Tree Methodist church of Med
ford were given- assignments for
.'the year at the annual conference
of the Oregon district of that de
nomination in Portland, which
came to an end last Saturday
night.
First In Importance was - that
Rev. Jhn 13. McDonnld of Med
ford, who with Mrs. McDonald
recently returned from about n
year spent In Europe and the Holy
Land, was appointed as the supply
pastor nt Fulls City, in Polk coun
ty. Whether this means that Rev.
and Mrs. McDonald nre going to
remove to the northern part of the
state, or not, Is not known here,
because they have not yet returned
home from Portland,.
Rev. Rozella , Douglas received
the appointment to The Dalles
church, going from the church at
Falls City, and In addition was re
elected conference Sunday school
superintendent.
Rev., Rhoda Burnett received the
appointment of superintendent of
the Portland Commons mission.
