Scout executive returned last eve
ning from Lake o'- the Woods,
where a new scout camp Is being
built. Six cabins hnve been con
structed, nnd the wnter system Is
half in, he stated last evening.
Scouts from Medford, Ashland and
Klamath Falls have been working
to get the camp completed In time
from the first period. :
Medford's allotment for the first
period is thirty, and Klamath
Falls' twenty. Mr. Bricker said
that probably forty from Medford
would attend the camp during the
first period, nnd only ten from
Klamath Falls, because of the few
registered from Klamath. The
camp is located directly across the
lokc from the lodge.

daughter. Miss Mildred, and son
Henry (!., of Clinton, Iowa, are In
the city for an extended visit with
Mrs. Kreim's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. George O. Timothy, and sis
ter, Mrs. Sam Richardson. They
arrived a week ago, and would
have been here sooner, but waited
until Miss Mildred graduated from
college before entrulnlng for Ibis
visit In Medford.
Mr. Krelm, a well known
business niau of Clinton for years,
in telling today of the bad eco
nomic condition in the widdle west
and eastern parts of the country,
said he and his brother who oper
ated a furniture store business,
sensing coming conditions, lortuti
ately sold out this business ad
vantageously last September, '- At
the present low valuation of other
pioperlies which they own iu
Clinton and vicinity Mr. Krelm
said It would take a year or more
until they could sell these Invest
ments without U loss.
In the meantime with his family,
although still in his prime, he is
practically retired from business
until things have been righted fi
nancially In Clinton sufficiently to
dispose of Investments there, and
is enjoyiug life.
Asked if he was looking for an
other location and especially If ho
contemplated locating In Medford
Mr. Krelm said he did not have
such idea, although he declared
Mediord and the valley were es
pecially pleasing. "Of course," he
said, "I am always keeping an eye
out for any good opportunity iu a
business way, but before 1 decided
lo locate any place 1 would want
to live there a year and make a
