movement. The event will be cele

occasion.
The influen.ee of this historic con
fession Is . acknowledge by other
prmuinent religious bodies. Hlsbop
Whittlnglinni declared: "In more
than one respect the Augsburg con
fession Is the source of thirty-nine
articles of the Church of England
and America." Archbishop l-aw-rence
also held that the articles
showed a Lutheran tendency. D'Au
bigne said: "The Augsburg confes
sion will ever remain one of the
masterpieces of the human mind en
lightened by the Spirit or (iod."
Christians may well look back to
that historic event, lor never was
a clearer statement made by Chris
tians for the faith that is in them
than was given that day."

In past years the park high
ways were open to travel only
after the heavy snow had melted
away sufficiently to permit re
moval by hand labor. This year,
with the use of new modern snow
removal equipment, highway! were
opened to travel two' mouths ear
lier than in i'n. with pronounced
decrease in snow .removal costs.
During tht first ten days of
June, 1 S 1 5 automobiles we-f
driven over park roads, among
which were Included cars from
stales and three provinces of
Canada.
