He said today there nre at least five applicants for every available job. However, a big percentage of the applicants are transients passing through Med ford nnd southern Oregon. Many of them nre un skilled laborers nnd some claim they have been attempting to find work for weeks nnd months. Local beauties nre urged to face the camera soon, Jean Hrault, chulr- man of the Lions club committee, sponsoring the Miss Medford con test, stated this morning. Some contestants tor the title have al ready called at the Shahgle studio and hud their photographs taken.
