RETURN TO TASTE
E
Last night a quartet of well
known Medford students of the
Oregon State college arrived home
frum Corvallls for the summer

glad to be back In our midst again
and to put tnelr leet unaer urn
various family dining tables. All
were unanimous In declaring that
of all the places they had visited

vacations In this beautiful commu

present vacation stay to find time
to visit Crater lake, abot which
thev hennl ho mneh in their col
legiate travels around Corvallls.
The trip was an arduous one
.he hnva arrived late at night
because of various delays en route,
chiefly -the stops at various hot
dog stands to study porkanatomy.
Also every time one of them
wanted to blow his nose the fliv
ver was stoppeil until the passen
gers rearranged themselves long
enough to let the afflicted one
.find his ' handkerchief and nose.
Then too, Johnny Greene's gnrters
cime down twice; and he catches
cold easily, thus causing other
stops.
: While passing through the Uni
versity of Oregon campus at Eu
gene, the boys paid their cour
teous respects by placing their
thumbs at their noses and wig
gling their fingers. That is, those
of them who had room for such
a maneuver, did, but the others
were with them in spirit.
