ton said:

Dr. Bclferer saiil that Dr. Har
rington's discovery has "pushed
back human history on this conti
nent thousands of years."
"Until recently," Dr. Scherer
said, "It was believed that man was

over the absence of H. C. Stock
of Ashland. ' member of the first
class upon whom the 14lh degree
was conferred by the Dodge of Per
fection. Mr. Stock is unable to at
tend tho reunion because of in
juries sustained In a recent auto
accident.
Work today is being conferred
by the Siskiyou chapter Uose Croix.
The business mooting at 8 o'clock
was followed by conferring of tlu
15th degree, Knight of the Hani,
of the Sword and of the Kagle. ,
Luncheon was served at noon by
the ladles of the Methodist Epis
copal church. This afternoon the
10th degree, Princes of Jerusalem;
the seventeenth, Knight of the East
and West, will be conferred before
thtf 6 o'clock dinner, which will
also be served by tho ladles of the!
Methodist Episcopal church. At 8
p. in. the Initiation program will be
resumed and the ISth degree,
Knight of the Eagle, Knight of the
Pelican, or Prince ttose Croix, will
be conferred.
