Cleanest crop of fruit
we have ever grown
says J. F. McCurdy
large Yakima Valley grower
ALTHOUGH the 1929 season was the wormiest one ever expe
rt nenced by the growers in the Northwest, this prominent grower
secured exceptional control of codling moth with S-W Arsenate and
S-W Summer-Mulsion. Here is what J. F. McCurdy says:
"We have finished picking our crop of apples and pears and are
pleased to advise we have the cleanest crop of fruit we have ever grown.
"We used approximately 1200 gallons of your Summer Mulsion
and nearly 10,000 pounds of your Arsenate of Lead and believe this
combination cannot be equalled for worm control."
J.F.McCURDY
S-W Arsenate offers maximum control of codling moth because it contains the highest per
centage of Arsenic Oxide possible in the acid type lead to maintain a correct balance S-W
Arsenate contains approximately 33 Arsenic Oxide, which is the active ingredient in lead
arsenate.
The air floating process is used in the Manufacture of S -W Arsenate, which produces a
unormly finely divided lead arsenate. Note the big, bulky package of S-W Arsenate of Lead
and how fluffy it Is in the bag. Fine lead adheres to the fruit.
Use S-W Summer-Mulsion in your cover sprays to catch the peak of the egg laying periods
This combination will greatly reduce the percentage of worms and stings. S-W Summer-Mulsion
