If we can systematically and co
operatively work together to find
all early ca--s. thereby stopping
the spread of this scourge.
As I have said the entire cam
paign to date has been a great
success but there has been just
one drawback and that is due to
the ignorance of the parties in
volved and to that lack of fore
thought for the health of their
neighbors.
.Many f.imili-s in which mem
bers had died from tuberculosis
and who are really suspicious con
tacts, have refused to allow their
children to take this tuberculin
t-i-t. This latter unfortunate sit
uation Is Just temporary I am
sure, because the idea of protect
ing the health of others Is be
coming more and more dominant
and good old common sense will
soon force these objectors into
the tpirit of safety first for the
public's health.
