Hamilton, former Holaria n was grea t ly a pprecia ted by all present. Hev. Hamilton spoke of Christmas Day being the birthday of a "gambler," not the type of gambler, however, that one usually thinks of but the type of man who stakes his all In an en deavor to attain a high Ideal. He went on to cite cases of "gamblers" of this type, men such as Colum" bus whn he set out on what was deemed a hopeless mission, the Wright Bros., who risked life and limb to conquer the air and Thos. A. Edison who tolled , day and night and spent a fortune to invent the electric light and other mar velous things to benefit mankind. The greatest of all men who toiled unceasingly and made end less sacrifices for his fellow man was He whose birthday we honor tomorrow, stated the speaker. He gave unstintingly and gambled everything he had even ;to his last stake his life in order that He might relieve human suffering and leave the world a better place in which to live and against great odds won. Following Rev. H a m 1 1 t o n's Christmas message Santa Clause, impersonated by Kcl.
