rQR SUPPLY OF SEALS
Generally placid and quiet, the
chamber of commerce yesterday
morning was a Rabat of confusion.
Secretory Baker was frantically
going thru his pockets, the assis
tant secretary her purse, and
worry was rampant. A customer
waited patiently throughout the
search. But in vain Mr. Baker
had to confess that the city head
quarters was out four Tuberculosis
Christmas Seals and even search
thru private puiy-s and pockets
produced nothing. By rapid phone
service, special messenger to Jack
son County Christmas Seal head
quarters, prompt delivery, the cus
tomer was satisfied and order
qgain restored. Thero were then
plenty of seals.
Booth sales nt the post offices
will close Saturday night, but until
the sale ends at Christmas, the
seals enn always be had at the
chamber of commerce. And any
one who did not get a letter frith
seals in them can, by making this
effort, get them there, and do a bit
for the health of his community.
