chairman. High school teacher
salaries, which had heen cut i
$175 a month, were lifted back to
$206; one grammar school teacher
who found herself unnecessary last
month, was discovered indlspenM-
ible by the action f last night, and
another item of $1,3"0 was added
to the budget. The $2,500 disal
lowed for board and transporta
tion of outside students, wits agMn
added, and insurance, which had
been rut to $1,211, 'was automat
ically boosted up to $1,400.

.Mrs. Gillis Courtright, who was
responsible for most of the motions
