present at the ceremony and tho
breakfast which was served at

mums and other seasonal flow
ers.
The bride wore a frock of blue
transparent chiffon velvet with

The Medford Deliihian club is
the alpha, or first, chapter, In this
state and Is now In its fifth year;
of study and research. In former
years the members have made a
study of ancient and modern his
tory, druma and art. This year the
subjects of music and poetry will
he studied, also parliamentary law.
The principal object of this study
and research club Is knowledge,
culture and Intellectual Improve
ment. 1 There ore several thousand Del
phian clubs In the United States,
groups of women who aspire to ln

derstand the nations needs that In
case of an emergency they would
bo capable of rendering acceptable

Gives Hallowe'en Dlllico
The Hallowe'en dunce sponsored
by the l'ocohontus lodge Friday
evening November 1, proved a' big
success. The hall was decorated
in keeping with tho season with
chrysanthemums, autumn- leaves
and corn stalks. Prizes for the
best costumes wore awarded to
Mrs. Vera Tbomns and Bud Law
