The winter schedule of motor
buses has been placed into effect,
beginning Friday, October 25. The
usual buses to Crescent City, ac
cording to tho rearranged sched
ule at tho bus station, show that

a. m. will not leave until 7:30. The

tion will hold itH fifth annual con
vention in Medford on the 12th and
13th of November, In the hall at
Merrick'g camp. A dinner dance
will be held at tho Itoiiue JOlk hotel
the evcninK of the 12th.

The object of this association la
for the building and maintaining
of better auto camps. The by-laws
require that camps be inspected
and found sanitary, clean and well
managed before such camps can
become' a member. Jackson coun
ty has ten association camps, and
all arc approved camps by tho state
bord of health, a larger percen
tage than any other county in the
stale.
Hallowe'en will be celebrated
Thursday night, October 31, at the
Oriental Gardens, when the Med
ford American Legion poet stages
another of Its popular dances with
scores of novel feature?.
The committee in charge of the
dance is sparing no effort to make
the affair a real party with some
thing doing every minute from
8:30 to 12 o'clock.
A speed dance context huM been
arranged, and 12 couples have al
ready entered.' The winners will
betdetormined by popular appluuse
during tho modern fast-time fox
trots and one-steps. Valuable prizes
will, be awnrded.
