All committee chairmen gave re
port of their work as outlined for
the year.
A campaign- for tinfoil, which
will be for the benefit of the
Shriners' hospital In Portland, Is to
be started by the girls. Boxes will
be placed at the end of the candy
counter in the hall, and In the dif
ferent rooms at school to benefit
the students.
. The league la sponsoring "Hello
week" at the high school this week
and yesterday afternoon class rep
resentatives sold a largo number
of "Hello" tags to the students.
The purpose of the campaign Is to
help the students get acquainted
with those who are not In their
classes.
The silver tea which the senior
girls are giving for their mothers
and members of the faculty Is to
bo an event of October 21.
