Impression that has been occasion
ed by certain misstatements In
the newspapers on various occa
sions in regard to the status of
Medford's traffic code.
A conference was held this week
ilt which the city attorney, police
Judge, police officials and the
writer were present, at which
meeting cetain phases Of polteo
court procedure were discussed,
particularly regarding the appeal
of -state law traffic violations
from the city police court, and
t he advisability of repeating cer
tain slate law provisions In 1
city ordinance. This in no wav
whatever affects the present traf
fic ordinance, and both tho city
and state traffic codes are In full
force and effect, as sot forth in
the small traffic folder recently,
