New Dollar Bill
Disappeared In
Twelve Minute3
It was only a new dollar bill.
But there were things on sale for
that amount. Who got it Is a
mystery, but no one cares. The
Important part of the incident is
that the bill was noticed by some
one passing t by Mann's depart
ment store window Saturday
morning just 1 2 minutes after it
had been pasted lightly onto the
outside of the window.
11. S. Hinuian. advertising man
ager for Mann's, believes that
window displays are effective. So
yesterday Just after the sture
opened he pasted several dollar
bills on the inside of the win
flows nnd only the one dollar bill
on the outside. Now he's con
vinced that people do stop and
look at tho displays, since the
bill disappeared In short order.
