Bimmons' chief worry today was
the weather, which threatened to
dampen the ordor of 32,000 fight
fans who purchased tickets for the
Joe Dundee-Jackie Fields welter
weight chumpionship buttle at the
Michigan State fairgrounds to
night. Dundee, the Italian cham
pion from Baltimore, has not
shown any considerable fighting
uhllity since he gained the title
two years ago, and consequently
will enter the ring tonight strong
ly suspected of being about to lose
Ills crown. Fields, who is five
years younger and carries consid
erably less ring expedience, has
come up rapidly and has plenty
of betting support. Fields' sup
porters expect him to knock out
the champion. Dundee has been
down several times, but never out.
