Taking of a 32-pound salmon on
a 3-0 spinner and a light trout rod
was a thrill experienced this week
by John Harris of Clover's radio
and sporting goods store. Mr. Har
ris was fishing above the Hock
Point bridge when the big one
took. hold. It took three-quarters
of an hour to land the salmon,
which was a bright and silvery

passed away at the Oreson-W'ash-ItiKton

Monday morning.
While residing tn Jackson county
Mr. Joy made his home for i number-
or years with the Yost family
near Jacksonville.
While at the Pythian home he
was the main gardener and florist
of that place. He leaves no known
relatives bia host or friends who
had known and loved him here and
He had won the admiration or at
tendants at ihe home. The remains
will be sent to Medford for inter
ment and funeral services will he
held under auspices of the local
K. of P. lodge at the Conger chajie!
