.The work of plowing, , grading
'and leveling is practically complet
ed with the exception of four acres
to be rough graded, and the bal
ance of the fluid outside of the
runway to be fine graded and
dragged.
Trenching work for the drainage
vyas started, and we now have five
thousand linear feet of the trencher
excavated, and eighteen hundred
feet of the tile laid ready for the
gravel to cover the pipe.
The foundation for the hanger
is completed,- and forms for tlx
concrete are, being built and we
should start pouring concrete with-
, In n day or two. 'We have also
laid the tilt lines for the drainage
nround the hangar and aprons. The
pipe is In place, and just aH soon
as; Stuart & Sons can- deliver the
n ravel, the trenches will be filled.
, Thp barrels we are using for the
boundary marlters have been plac
ed and spaced on the field so that

field, there will be amide room for
landing and taking off.

to the hangar is graded and ready
for gravel. All hired .equipment
for leveling has been disposed of
and the city's own equipment will

Thirteen days were clear, fivts
were partly cloudy and 1 clo.aly.

and ha.e were of fairly frequent
occurrence. A lunar halo was ob
served r,n the lth. A meteor of
unusual brilliance nnd si.o yui
noted on tho evening of Juno l':l.
