spectators.
Tlie pariicipants in the carnival
ranged from heuinners of four
years old to full-mown young men
and women. One beginners' class
with ehildren from four to er;ht
demonstrated 10 the crowd just
what it was like not to be afraid
of the water, some of them even
showing considerable skill in swim
ming and floating.

the past few weeks, assisted by

ous events of the carnival, while
W. Allen. I.ee Hricker and Mrs.
McDonald of the Nataloi ium acted
