"Hick day" was a hilarious event
on Friday afternoon. The event is1
looked forward to as an oppor
tunity for all the seniors to drop
their dignity and appear in tho
guise of the most ludicrous charac
ter Imaginable. .Everybody- was
there, from the baby of tho family
riding about on his kiddy car, to
a serene Quaker dame. Flotween
were at) possible clarities of human
ity. The student body gathered In
tho gymnasium for tho program
which consisted of several clever
skits and school songs. A clever
class history was given by Miss
June Hheradr. - A number of par
ents attended the program.
Miss HIUIh McCall of Klamath
Falls, who was a former student
at the Southern Oregon Normal
school, and Is well known In thut
city, has been appointed to a teach
ing position In tho Klamath Falls
schools for next year.
Hugh Bates, an employe at the
