on a prominent rock projection on
Grlxzly Peak, by the Lettermen's
association of Southern Oregon
Normal school. The men are rush
ing the giant task to completion as
rapidly as possible and hope that
It may be finished and at least a
portion of It painted by May 15,
which has been designated as May
day. , The huge "O" .will be visible
from practically every point in -this
end of the valley and will be seen
especially plain from the Faclfic
highway. Actual construction in
volves the gathering of loose rocks
from a large area. The letter will
be 200 feet high and 100 feet wide.
The bulk or thickness of the body
