ship title to his lltit of trapshooting
honors. Hunday he turned In a
UK card, which, added to his 9 ft
on the pervious day, gave him a
total of 1!3 for the two-day meet.
If. Mi Ilollyfleld was second with

Trooh was obliged to do some ex
cellent shooting to place as ho did.
As It was, ho was not hifch gun
of the meet. This honor went to
O. N, KonI of Del Monte. Cal., who
shot two 07's for a li4 two-duy
total. Kinco Ford Is nut a resi
dent of Oregon, howevor, ho could
not claim the state title.
Ford was hitch on nil targets for
tjio three-day meet, with a score of
Milt out of a possible 600, and GDI
out of t50, including tho doubles.
Trooh won the doubles cham
pionship with 45 out of 50.

and killed ten more, all on the I-oiik

they found two dens full, several
of them very old, as a part of their
rattles had rotted off, and for a
time the men were kept busy kill
ing snakes. Mrs. Btowell is curing
the rattles to exhibit at the county
fair in September.
