Medford this week with C. W.
Wood or Prospect, prosldont, and
S. 0. Mendenhall of this city act
lng as secretary and treasurer. An
' Interesting program has been out
lined for the new club, member
shlprOf which Is open at a small
fee to anyone interested. :
By no means will the member
ship be 'limited to Medford mcu,
but, instead, sportsmen of Ashland,
Talent, Phoenix, Jacksonville, Cen
tral Point, Oold Hill and outlying
points -are all urged to Join. Tho
initiation fee. Including dues for
the first year. Is announced at $10,
with $5 dues annually following the
first year.
Tho club plans to obtain Its own
target grounds and build its own
club Iioubc Two traps will bo used
and shoots will be held every Sun
day, ond possibly during the latter
pwt- of September a big trap
shooting tournament will bo hold,
attracting trap shooters from all
ports of tho atttto. If tho club is
fully organized a throe-day meet is
scheduled for some time 'during the
summer of '1930, with big prizes
awarded'for winning scores.
Membership will bo solicited in
a short, tlme nnd in their offorts It
is possible a number of prospects
