Miss Frances Collis of Fairfield,
Idaho, arrived at tho home of her
grandmother, Mrs. J. A. McCause,
the last of tho week, and entered
the seventh grade of tho Bellvlew
school on Monday. Hho will make
her home with her grandparents

Tho youngsters ot tho Bellvlew
school observed Friday, which was

fying their school grounds as well
as making a house cleaning In
doors. Mrs. Ed Gowland of Klamath
Falls, who spent some timo at the
home of her parents, Mr, and Mrs.
E.. E. Miller, caring for her father,
who Is 111, returned to her homo on

first of the week for northern Cali
fornia, where ho has employment
during the slimmer months.

dredging water by forcing the
muddy water thru a pipe clear to
the head of tho rock piles. As it
washes back down thru tho rocks
most of the mud settles among
tho rocks. The water then con
tinues on down fairly clear.
John Short traded his Chevrolet

food cake exhibited at the cooking
school at the armory Friday.
Curloy Wilson and wife arrived
here by auto from Los Angeles,
where Mr. Wilson has had medical
treatment. They will rest for a
few days at the homo of Mr. and
Mrs. E. S. Wilson, then go on to
their home In Spokane, Wash.
