tracts for over 70 acres of toma
toes, to be used thiB season, ac
cording to an announcement mado
by Halph Kooier, manager of the
cannery, yesterday. -
This, acreage 'will mean ihe pur
chase ;of approximately 1000 tons
of tomatoes and promises a busy
season for tho concern.

between Mcdford and Ashland.
The cannery has also contracted
