The Medford, Rational Rifle clUh;
will hold the. regular weekly prac
tice on the outdoor range this foro
noon. . The following week the
rifle club will not use the outdoor
ranjre,. as-all targets will he used
by .the. national guard for a compe
tition between " teams from the
Grants Pass, Klamath Falls, Ash
land .and Medford guard com
panies. The local company team
will devote the entire day today to
practice over tho outdoor firing, in
preparation for tho match next
Sunday.
A number of the .most, expert
riflemen in the company, have been
trying out for the team, and the
competition for places .as flrlnK,
members has been rather keen, In
spite of tho fact that the practice
has been carried on for only a
short period. Kvery effort is be
lli? bent upon developing a win
ning team in the short time re
maining beforo the contest Is held.
Tho civilian riflo club members
have continued their indoor and
outdoor practice following the
usual schedule,' Indoor riflo prac

noons. Members who have their
