the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Fred Hollbaugh early Monday
morning. Mr. Hurley had been In
poor health for about a. year, and
at the time of hU death was 9
years old, Mr. Hurley wan born
June 13, 1849, near old Fort De
fiance, Ohio. He Hpent the early
part of his life in Iowa, Nebraska
and KansaH. With the early pio
neer movement he came west, lo
cating In the state of Washington,
in 111 he moved to Talent. He is
Hurvlved by a daughter and a son,
Mr. Fred Holibaugh and- Delvin
Hurley,, both of Talent. . The fu
neral services were held Wednes
day afternoon from the. Methodist
church, and were conducted .by
Uev, Hrown, Interment was . in
the Sterns cemetery on Wagner
creek.

now able to be around again.
