and luncheon will be served at
noon at the club house, where
members not desiring to play golf
may play bridge. This Is only one
of several events announced today,
-A men's tournament will be
played Sunday on IS holes with a
handicap basis. The prize will be
furnished by the Sadies, who wilt
also serve luncheon at noon for
the players. Matches will begin as
early as the players arrive.
Playing has also begun for the
MeCaskey trophy and will close
May 1. The trophy is attracting
considerable interest and several
exceptionally good scores are ex
pected in the competition. The
women's and men's eclectic tour
naments opened April 1 and will
continue until June 1, Two hand

CAPITAL OF TURKEY
Mrs, Leura Went, who left Med
ford a year ago for an extended
vacation trip through Biirope and
Asia, hag just left Constantinople,
after spending several days in the
anefenr capital, according to word
