MALMfiREN Theodore John
-Malmgreu, beloved by all who knew
him and one of the few remaining
typical country physicians. Dr.
Theodore John Malmgren died at
his home In Phoenix, Oro., Wed
nesday morning at 5:3(1 o'clock,
'following a heart attack which had
begun shortly after midnight. To
gether with Mrs. Malmgren he at
tended a church supier in Phoenix
and was In his usual good spirits.
Upon his return to his home he
was called to the bedside of a pa
tient which - kept him busy until
midnight It was not long after
hlB return to his home that the
heart attack came un him and
lie passed away at 5::iu,
He was born in Union county,
South Dakota1, October 34, 1871,
and at the time of his death he
wus aged 57 years, 6 months and 0
days. He was a graduate of the
University of South Dakota at Ver
million, S. D., where he attained his
Bachelor - of Science degrees. In
1007 he graduated from the medlcal
school of the Iowa state university.
On December 22, 1909, he was mar
ried to Fredericks Barbara Hann at
Medford, and on June 1, 1909, he
started the practice ol' his profes
sion at Phoenix, which has been
for the past -20 years, endearing
him to g wide circle of friends. He
was a member ot the Jackson
