hours' deliberation, while the Jtov.
H. H. -Wallace, the slain man's
futhcr, was preaching1 an Easter
sermon In a nearby church. 1

It was alleged ho walked up io
the Rev. Mr. Wallace, shouted
"Prepare to meet thy God,"' and
shot him down.
Mrs.- Wilson, a choir singer in
the minister's church in Troup,
testifying for her husband, told
of three lntlmute "love trysts."
Prosecution presented testimony
to contradict her story of two of
them. '
