The real parish church at Jack

1SG1, when Itev. Father .1. F. Tier
ens, later appointed vlear-Kcm'ral
of the archdiocese, was made its
pastor. The old St.- Joseph's
church still stands In Jacksonville
and ils records contain some of tli
most colorful and interesting data
to he found, bn the early days of
that historical town.
