noon that at a big chamber of
commerce mooting In Ashland
Monday evening. Mr.- Claycomb,
president of the chamber, spoke on
cooperation and advised all citi
zens and dealers to hand them
selves together for the common
good. However, on the next day,
said Mr. Phillips, Mr. Claycomb
cut tho price of gasoline down to
22 cents, and was followed by the
two other curb pumps.
Mr. Phillips declared tlio service
stations will not drop to' tho 22
cent level and that service station
operators have dccldod to drop
from the membership roll of the
chamber of commerce, lie also
