present, and ywi considered, the
best infection 'ever passed by tlw
organization. Major C. -M. MuMur-'
jay, 7th infantry, inspecting officer,
put the, company through a rigid
lest including minute inspection of
each man, ennjpment and knowl
edge of mllltar training. The com
pany assembled at 8 o'clock with
lull marching equipment and after
a hall-hour period ot individual in
spection the company spent two
hours going through various phaHes
of drilling and maneuvers. .
Included in Major MuMurray's
visit was an inspection of the new
rifle, range ot Company. A and the
new indoor rifle range in the base
ment of the armory. ... Special com
mendation was expressed tle
fine construction carried, out. in the
building of these two ranges. ,

an annual inspection of mob or
ganization in the National Guard
to determine Its fitness to take the
field in the event of an emergency
ami also as a. preliminary to the
nnnual encampment, which .this
year will again bo held at f'nniu
