are all ex-service men assured a
welcome, but the ministers are
urging the fanes of the day as
an occasion for various political
factions to declare a truce and
meet together in the House of
Ond.
Not a little factional bit I ernes-;
has been aroused by local and
national politics, and now that
the campaign Is over an armistice
is due. The churches of Medford
are exceptionally free from sec
tarian divisions nnd are in a po
sition to Invite warring factions
to put up the arms of their war
fare and meet on Armistice Day
within their walls for a service
of peace.
Tiie loyalty campaign that t-'
now on in the churches, lends It
srlf admirably to this effort.
Church people are keenly alive to
the spiritual significant e of Ar
mistice Day anil its place in the
prourum of the Prince of Peace.
They will want to rally at the call
of their pastors and fill the places
