Operation Fatal
SALEM; Ore.. Sept. 25. (P)
Mrs. Clifton Irwin, 31, prominent
Salem society matron, and prior to
her marriage widely known socially
in Portland, died at a local lion-,
pilul early today after a Cuesarian
operation. Her infant son died a
few-hours later. Mrs. Irwin was
the wife of Captain Irwin. Her
maiden name was Mnrjorie Cameron.
