Three of the victims, ltichard
Millar, his wife and son, were in
stantly killed. Two others, Miller's
son, Wesley, and a neighbor, Carl
Mocks, died attempting to rescue
the three.
Miller first stumbled across the
wire when he left his home on his
way to work. His shrieks of ag
ony brought his wife and a son to
liis uid, but they both died when
they made an effort to pull him
from the deadly wire. Wesley, an
other son. escaped 4'rom the wire
