Trumbull is as busy socially us a

"My social duties keep me busy"
she says. "They keep me up on j
lots of things. You have to adapt J

would not say so, though they are
sometimes very trying. The more
I have to do the better I like it."
Miss Trumbull Is now 23 years
old. A year ago she was graduat
ed from Mt. Holyoke college where
she was a member of the glee club,
and she still recalls the happy col
lege life.
"In a way, I nm nwfully sorry to
he through with college, in n way
I'm tickled. I just loved It, and
everyone said that I would miss it
awfully, still 1 haven't ho very
much. You see I'm glad I don't
have to study nnd only do things
like that just when I want.
"At every college." she says,
"there Is n crowd that Is pretty
gay, et Mt. Holyoke as well us al !
other places. In some cases 1 sup- '
pose the girls have been so re- i
strictcd nt home that when they
nre placed in the artifh lul life at
college and all on their own for
the first time, they go too far.
And then there nre some who are
used to It nt home all the time,
and just keep It up. Hut I really
think it all depends on the girl.- If
she wants to do It. she will."
In the smoking controversy. Miss
Trumbull admits that she was on
the side of the majority of the stu
dents who wanted the ban against
smoking lifted, says n writer In the
Mart ford (Conn.) Courant. "If

will he broken, and I don't believe
in abusing the law, so It seems to
