truck, bought of the Highway Mo
tor, company, a speed boat from

struction of five buildings on the
fairgrounds in preparation for the
biggest fair In southern Oregon
history, to be held September 12,
13. 14 and 15, according to -H. O.
Frohbach, member of tho fair
board executive committee.
Included lu the group will ho n
stock barn, rabbit exhibit house,
educational building, automobile
pavilion hihI a large comfort sta
tion, all ot be painteil cream with
trimming, and of attractive archi
tectural design. Structures now on
the. grounds will be enlarged lu
several cases with additional Im
provements for effective showing
of exhibits.

tho Crutcr Lake highway would
be in good condition for the cara
van of cars taking members of
tho California Kditorlul. associa
tion to tho resort Monday, June
25, L. C. Oarlock and Uob Bull
made tho trip last evening.
The road from Anna springs to
Government camp Is in excellent
shupe, and the oiling proces
above Prospect does not bother
in driving, they reported today.
Last year cars couldn't get to tho
lodgo before July 'i. Yestcrdoy
there were at least 50 autos nt
the lake.
From - Government camp to the
rim the road Is under control,
with one-way traffic in force. All
snow is cleared off so that cars
may go direct to the hotel for the
official opening.
