which has been cleared of snow
now as fur as government ramp,
opened nnd in good condition by
June IS.
It seems that he. as well as the
officials of Crater Lake National
park and of the Craicr National
Park company, deem the eight
inches of snow that fell there yes
terday as of no consequence, think
ing that it will melt away quickly
and takt some of the old snow with
it. Mr. Davidson said, in fact, that
late yesterday the new snow was
al uad y melting and that there had
been .no freeze at the national park
last uight or the night before.
II. W. Price, who is very enthu
siastic about Ihe bright prospects
now for a record breaking atiend
ance at Crater Lake park, said to
day that as soon as the weather
permits his company would be iin
the construction of the cafeteria
and cabins near the camp grounds.
These buildings will not be com
pleted in time for use this season,
but will be in readiness for next
year.
