The bride, who was piven in

in a gown of pink georgette over
satin with a large picture hat and
curried a shower bouquet of bride's
roses and lilies of the valley.
Miss Gladys 1'rye, sutler of the
bride, the only attendant, wore a
gown of crepe satin in pastel green
with hat to match and carried a
bouquet of pink sweet peas and
Cecil Urunner roses.
Little Maxlne Pierce, the small
daughter of Mi, and Mrs. Clurence
Pierce, made an adorable little
flower girl. She wore a white silk
drcHH trimmed with tiny pink rose
buds and carried a basket of rose
petala which she scattered in t he
path uf the. bride.
Walter Smith acted as best man
and Arnold Hohuert and Wilbur
Ncwland were ushers.

since then have been employed in
Medford. .Mrs. Newland is one of
the popular operators at the Pa
cific Telephone company. .Mr.
Newland Is with the Jackson
County Cretuaery.
They left for h short trip south
over the Redwood highway to San
Francisco. They will be at home,
at 855 Kant Ninth street , where
t hey recent ly built a new home,
after June 20th.

little daughter Betty Joan, arrived
last week from Woodland, Califor
nia to make Medford their perma
nent home. Mr. .Millard who was
pastor ,pf the local Christian
church for four years, has just
closed a very fruitful ministry with 1

half years was spent at Woodland!
