Our Sunday school decided by a
foipual vote not to have a Daily
Vacation lilblo school. Our super
intendent, Mrs. Lance, has been
having the children learn Psalms,
the Heatitudes, etc., for more than
a year. Summer is tho only time
parents have the help of their chil
dren. And, with milking, garden
ing, picking berries, caring for the
chickens and calves, and household
work, there are no idle children on
Foots Creek.
Foots Creek school will close to
day with tiie usual hlgi dinner and
a Mot Iter's day program. The
teachers are giving several days
next week for final reviews and ex
aminations. Sunday, the Kith, there will be a
Mother's day program iu connec
tion with the Sunday school. Our
teachers have offered to give the
best of- their program that day.'
