Shortly beforo the Introduction
of the Whippet Six a Tto'duri model
was taken to the Indianapolis
Speedway where. It established a
new record for cars under $1000 in
a 24-hour test. The Whippet Six
traveled 1367 H miles in the test,
averaging 56.52 miles an hour. In
a 60-mlIe speed test H averaged 63
miles an hour. Chick Murray,
well known race driver, was at the
wheel.

organization and the Increasing
