Not wishing to publicly condemn the findings of a jury,
Sentaor Borah simply answered tlie inquiry by saying ho would
re-reud the supremo court report.

The absurdity of tho jury's acquittal of Sinclair may be
gleaned from tho undeniable fact that Iho jury members could

testimony 1 of ex-Secretary Fall's own son-in-law that the

ment in recognition of favors granted, but was a perfectly
legitimate purchase prico for
"cactus ranch."

verdict as the recent jury acquittal of Mr. Remus on tho "sole
ground of insanity," we fail to see how any thinking person

tho American jury system.
