The Business Men s Gospel team
is becoming more of an active or
ganization, and people from all sec
tions are becoming interested in
its work. Invitations are coming
in to .Secretary 1L G. Fleisher from
various sections in several counties.
This interest on the part of the
public has inspired the gospel team
to greater efforts. The organiza
tion is being financed by the mem
bers, and no collections will he
made in the future, according to a
decision of the board. However,
anyone wishing to help in this
cause may do so by handing their
donations to Secretary Fleischer,
at the meetings or by mail.
Talent Ntwt Sunday.
There were not enough cars at
the library Sunday to haul all who
wanted to go to Gold Jiill, and

Rogue Valley garden acreage, and

States, inviting their consideration
of this locality.
Dr. I. V. Parsons of Kvcrett,
Washington, who organize! the
Kiwanis club in that city . seven
years ago, and served as one of
the past presidents of the organi

wanis convention that will be held

An amusing incident at the Gold
Ray dam occurred yesterday when
a Aledford man who had been hav
ing some luck, caught a dozen or
more nice sized trout, nnd after
catching each one and detaching
it from his hook, threw it into
a little cleft pool on the rocky
shore for safe and fresh keeping
until he was ready to go home.
Finally, the fish having stpH:d
striking this angler packed up to
go home nnd gleefully reached In
what he had thought was the little
shallow pool for his catch. Then
he was tlumbfoumled to discover
the pool was six or eight feet deep,
and, of course unable to find the
fish he had caught, departed for
home In
