sport. To anyone who has a
balanced mind, the spectaclo
is soothing, good and kind;

contrary birds; 'they boost this
culture with resounding words,
and say It's fine to see a blood
red town give up its guns and
gently settle down. It's truly
fine that law should thus pre
vail, that those who flout it
spend nine days In Jail; but In
their hearts the men contrary
guys recall old dass with
pessimistic sighs. The old wild
towns, how wonderful they
were, when all the air was
thick with blood and fur!
When thirsty men came in
from herding cows, to spend
a season in a glad carouse;
when every man possessed a.
treasured gun, that he would
shoot in earnest or In fun,
