The meeting was presided over
by Dr. Koherts, Sunday school

these meetings nre to discuss the
business of keeping tho Sunday
school In the B type class which
requires a standard school In every
way. Tho membera are all re
quired to tudy a certain number
of books each year. Last year the
Sunday school of the Methodist
church, South. In Medford wns the
only one In the northwest confer
ence to meet the requirements of
the 11-cluss type. ,
The spiritual training of the
children Is tho most Important
consideration nf nil the teachers.
At these meetings r. Roberts al
ways instructs tho teachers to keep
this consideration foremost at nit
times. It was decided to purchase
an American flag, nnd a Christian
flng for the church. The Sunday
school has a novel way of raising
a (und to purchase book for a
library. Each Sunday each child
brings one cent. In the last year a
sum of $37' has been collected In
this way. A committee was ap
pointed to get advice from head
quarters as to the beet literature
to purchase. - -
There Was a genertal discussion
as to ways and means ot entertain
ing the pastors, and their wiveft,
and the official delegates that wilt
be here to attend the district con
ference to be held here in April.
