than a hundred players into Oregon,
the personnel including Juck Holt,
tilllie Dove and Montagu Love, the
featured players. ,
: The objective of the company fas
the second splash dam -of the middle
fork of the Coqullle river, approxir
mately 20 miles from Coqullle, Ore
gon and In the heart of the log coun
try. One of the big sequences 'in the
picture shows timbermen felling 150
foot trees, a wonderful sight and with
action aplenty.
Four cameras filmed the scenes.
Wlllat directed the entire sequence
fro ma log booom in the river. Other
thrilling scenes were filmed at what
is known as splash dam No. 3 of the
middle fork -of the Coquiile river, at
which point the dam opens and the
. log drive is at its height. Once this
dam Is opened the water rushes thru
with Buch tremendous force that a
boat Is tossed about like a chip.

runner up for the heavyweight cham
pionship and contender for the west
coast championship for years.
